Lily has found lots of loves in her life: swimming, reading (not just any book, though, just THIS book) and her new Bumbo chair. Now that we're finally able to catch up the blog again, here are pictures from the past few weeks! She loves her daddy and is such a happy happy baby, reading her book for 20 or 30 minutes at a time, giggling and laughing almost everyday, and enjoying very much seeing the same people every day and STILL loves being at home the most!
She is teething, which has her in bouts of sporadic pain and crying, but she's handling it better than mom and dad, who hate to see her hurting!
Please be praying for her this summer! We are concerned about 6 weeks on the road with new people and schedules and places every day and being away from home...All these things could be potentially really hard for her, so we're praying that the Lord will bless her with peace and enable us to give her good stability!

Martin is slightly suspicious that Lily's reading pics are staged - ahh the things parents of first babies will do . . . on the other hand, maybe she's truly brilliant
She is so darn cute, and obviously smart the way she is "reading" already.

Loving Lily's pics. I recognize 1-2 of Sofia's little outfits in prior posts. That makes me so happy! Hope you are having good travels. I know Grandpa Malcolm is glad to see you all. Look us up if you guys ever come through Chattanooga. We'd love to meet you in person! Eleanor
